Software update error 2032

I activated my PlayBook two weeks ago without issue. Now when I try to update the latest OS I get "could not connect to the update server (2032)" .I have connected and confirmed I am working on a strong wifi connection. If I try to connect to the desk top soft ware it tells me I have not activated my Playbook yet.  I can't do anything with it other than reconnect to wifi. I`ve tried powering off, using different wfi access points, nothing. Its a brick. Any ideas

Hey gnbc4,

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

 

Hold down the power button for 10 seconds so the Playbook resets and then reattempt the update.

 

If it fails again, try a different hotspot if possible.

Hello Ferret,

 

Could you please be more specific on the error code? Im sure it means something rather than rebooting the Playbook or trying another hotspot. I'm seeing many people like myself with this error lately, i have previously upgraded the OS and only in the last couple of weeks i have seen this.

hold down the power, + and - buttons at the same time for approximately 15 seconds. see if the playbook resets. and will download the latest update. If it does not try the following.
1 Make sure you are running the most up to date desktop manager.
2 turn off you playbook.
3. Connect pb via usb
4 the dm will think it is bricked and a dialog box will appear quickly to UPDATE select up date. ( make sure u back up the data u need first)
This should fix your problem.

Hi, ok done all even set up my own wifi at home. start download shows 104mb and then jumps to 75mb and after waisting my airtime give error unable to update. Now almost have my PB for a week could not get it set up!!!!!!!!
