Just as my tablet recieved the OS update, it no longer booted.
It was fully charged, and plugged into a standard micro USB at the time.
It said download was successful, restart now... so I did.
And I never could use it again.
When I tried to boot it, it had a red light, then the red light blinked a few times, then nothing.
And then, it blinked green six times. then nothing.
I tried a USB to my computer to use Blackberry Manager (latest version).
I tried of course, the various holding down the power button schemes, including the old one of holding down ALL the keys, and the new one with just the power and forward keys. Nothing.
I went on EBAY to get an OEM charger stand. I hope that works, but I don't have much hope for that.
And now, nothing. My blackberry is a brick after the update.
I came to like blackberry because of the reliability of the phone. While all of my iphone friends were crazy about tech support of apple, I replied, I don't need tech support with my blackberry (curve) nothing ever goes wrong.
But this whole situation, is getting me down.

I just tried it again with the OEM charger that came with the tablet.
No difference.
I will wait another hour to see if any battery charging takes place, and then try again.

The 7amp charger oem with that three prong magnetic attachment is working well.
I love my playbook again.
But it was a mistake for blackberry to create a playbook that requires this amp without either including it nor informing us users of the need.
This was another misstep of RIM, i hlpe they improve.
