Re: Trying to open Email app; gives error (30000)

I struggle with the same issue and completely cleared my outloook account, however, did not have success with getting Outlook to work.  Did you have to clare all of your email accounts for it to be effective.  I have several mapped into my tablet and the onlt one that gives me this error was Outlook.

Diid you have to clear all the email accounts???

Re: Trying to open Email app; gives error (30000)

Still seeking resolution; will try reinstalling all e-mail accounts today but really don''t want to reboot the entire tablet. All my issues started around late December and I can't say I really understand what caused this event. Any attempts to open the Outlook account results inthe 30000 errror code.

Re: Trying to open Email app; gives error (30000)

Is this an outlook.com email account?

Why wouldn't you want to follow the resolution which worked for the user above?

Not complicated and you won't lose anything.

Re: Trying to open Email app; gives error (30000)

I have already deleted my Outlook account and reinstalled the links. If that is what your suggesting I've ready performed that with no change. My tablet is a 16g model RDJ21WW. If there is a way to reboot without loosing other data and pictures as well as software, I'm open to suggestions. .

The reslution which worked for an earlier user in this thread, was:

Remove all your email accounts and re-add them.

Have you done that? Is the Outlook.com email account your only email account?

Re: Trying to open Email app; gives error (30000)

John Clark,

Outlook error code 30000 was resolved by clearing out all email accounts, restarting my tablet and then setting up the accounts as if new. All issues were completely resolved including sync of the calendars.

Thanks for your insight..... Any ideas as to the root cause to the origin?

Re: Trying to open Email app; gives error (30000)

I'm interested in anyone's input as to root cause (ie: Yahoo/Att) original or Outlook interface. I have experienced other issues as it relates to Yahoo/Att accounts through Galaxy cell interface. Clearing. Out all email accounts followed by a restart and then remapping the email accounts resolves all issues.
