Hi guys,
Could someone help me to understand this problem? I am a new user of Playbook, and triying to use bridge with my BB 9790. when i'm trying to use BBM on the Playbook, error came out "your version of BBM is not compatable with Blalckberry bridge. Download the latest version of BBM to use it on paybook"
I checked my BBM version, it looks ok. there's no indication that i need to upgrade it. is there anyone know what should i do?
thanks ![]()

i'm not sure if i can help, but i had a problem tethering my bb phone to my playbook, it couldn't pick up the connection at all, but i did notice there was a new version of the bridge so i downloaded and after doing this it connected with no problem. Not sure if that's the answer, i don't have my playbook with me now. When you were making the connection, did you tick the bbm box, a listing comes up asking what you want connected to the playbook, and you have to tick each box.
emails
bbm
text messages
calendar
contacts
(dont remember what else)
i didn't connect my bb because i leave the playbook home a lot, and when i'm using the playbook i have the phone next to me, so there is no need.
sorry if i'm of no help, just thought i'd try.
Regards
bbloyal

Hi bbloyal,
thanks for responding my post. "When you were making the connection, did you tick the bbm box, a listing comes up asking what you want connected to the playbook, and you have to tick each box" <-- i actually never experience it. normally i just on the bridge and they both conencted straight away. all other function is ok except BBM.
do you have another thought? anyway, thanks for the idea mate.

7.0.0.130 is the latest available.
Regardless, .126 should work as well, as I recall.
I would delete on your BlackBerry device the Bridge application, reboot the 9790, and then resintall Bridge, connect via Bridge to the PlayBook again.

Dean, Yes, that has been a common fix for this issue.
