the wipe clean and upgrade to 1088 OTA solved the problem. Now my programs appear under "reinstall"

Hi:
I just updated to 2.1.0.1088 as well, and then updated a game and then downloaded a different game.
While these appear in App World > My World as "Installed", they do not appear on the home screen.
Any ideas?
If the PlayBook needs to be "wiped", how is this done?
(I purchased this PlayBook last week, and am not that fluent with it yet.)
I'm not really concerned about the games, but am a bit more concerned if this happens with more important apps.
Thx,
J.

Scroll down, scroll right. There are up to three home screens and they are bigger than what you can see in one go.

I only have ~1 1/2 "home screens" of icons.
18 + 5 at the top of the first, and
7 + 5 at the top of the second.
There is no third page.
(I haven't added much at this point.)
Is there any other way to check (such as with file manager, setup or something else)?

OK - my turn to be embarrased...
After further investigation, found the answer in the "Downloaded playbook apps not showing up on playbook?" thread < http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-
(App Icons were below shown icons on first homepage. ...Beats my why RIM would choose to have another row initially sort of hidden when there are multiple home pages with space for new icons!?!?!)
Thanks for your help Troy.
