Using overdrive to get library books with OS2 on playbook

I can find the book I want at my library and the program says that I have downloaded it.  But I can't find it anywhere. Looked for it in the overdrive app but it's not there. Yesterday. I did find it somewhere (can't find it today). Yesterday When I tried to open it I got an error msg. Help!!

I had the same problem I can't find the book, and now I can't even open Overdrive or uninstall it.

There is no error message.  It won't open when you touch the icon and if I try to uninstall it, I just get the circle going around endlessly until I stop it.  I also can't open the overdrive document in file manager.

having similar problem. PB OS2.0.1.358 (current version). Installed Overdrive Media Console for Playbook (v2.4.2.2). Can't open the app (there's no icon & no error messages).

Re: Using overdrive to get library books with OS2 on playbook

Problem: Overdrive installed ok but can't run the app (can't find the icon)

Solution: Icon was on the 1st page of apps & I hadn't scrolled down far enough. (I'd assumed it'd show up at the end of all apps previously installed ... on my PB, page 2).

Re: Using overdrive to get library books with OS2 on playbook

Swipe down, and select "get books"

Select your library

Select "my account"

Sign in using your library card

Select "my checkouts"

Everything you currently have checked out will be listed, available to download (mp3 and ebooks).

Once you have downloaded them in the Overdrive app, they will be available to read during the checkout time.
