Ok when I try to video chat with my wife on her playbook the video freezes almost every 15 - 20 seconds almost like its buffering the video. At first I thought it was her internet connection. The other day she was at my sisters and she tried to video chat with me and again it freezes up the same way. Now I know it is not the internet connection because I can video chat with my sister on my sisters playbook flawlessly. I can video chat with anybody with no problems but when trying to chat with her its almost unbearable to try to chat with all the freezing. A five minute video chat with her takes almost ten mins while waiting for it to unfreeze. Her playbook is brand new at Christmas and mine Is almost a year old. Both of the playbooks have been updated with the latest OS but hers still has a seizure regularly. Is it possible her playbook is a dud?

Read my original post. I can chat with other playbook users without freezing. Yet when My wife takes her playbook over the these other friends hers freezes. Even tonight she was at my sisters. I tried chatting with my wife but it kept fizzing so she took my sisters playbook and we chatted just fine. This problem is isolated to just her playbook no matter what network she uses.

Are you perhaps using the same BBID on both Playbook ?
If you are that maybe the problem, because from what I understand of video chat, but it uses BBID to connect

On your wifes PB see if the PB is doing a search fo active networks. I had a similar issue and discovered that the PB was searching for available networks when the signal strength is strong for 2 or more connections. What i did was manually connected and this resolved the issue for me or set the PB to use saved connections only. To check when you see the issue arise have your wife go to the wifi screen and see if is actively searching for a connection and if there are 2 or more connections with about the same signal strength.
