Hi

 

I have a blackberry playbook and family have iphones.  

 

Does anyone know how I can video chat with them.

You can use Skype or tango. Both you and the ipad user needs to download it.

How do you use Skype on the Playbook, there is no program that is working on the Playbook for Skype at the moment

You can not video chat with them using the Blackberry Video Chat, however if you have a Skype account you can log on to imo.com, sign in and then skype them using that. Unfortunately Skype is not available for Playbook so you have to use IMO which sometimes doesn't work. Hope this helped!

I tried IMO , both sides have to be on imo and it was slow (like 5 sec delay) and voice only from what I remember. 

Tried Reelportal with Reelportal app on Playbook, does not work with some routers (some phone company routers lock the ports required) 

Haven't tried Faceflow but it has the best reviews on this forum.
