I know there have been reports of a video freezing while filming and then during playback and it can be irritating.
Someone reports that clearing off large amounts of data has occasionally fixed it. Someone else reported temporarily turning on and then off File encrption can also fix it.
Today I did a security wipe of my 64 gig (a pain, I may add) to Restore missing Permissions for some apps. After installing those two apps I immediately tried my freezing video. No freeze or lag on recording or playback.
Obviously, there is some bug in the file-spooling or disk writing as a video is shot that causes the freeze and therefore, missing seconds, in a video. Possibly, the pb has trouble finding freeze "segments" in a fragmented storage disk.
I hope Rim fixes this for bb10!
