What about in Canada...very f rustrsting RIM! No netflix either....maybe I should return for the ipad afterall. Thought this could replace my laptop...
With no video store or netflix is there a way to "easily " the watch movies on a PB? I replac ed my laptop with this so downloading.copying is not an option. Even so I want to be able to just bit "play"
Seriously RIM I was told the PB is on par with th a ipad with OS. 2...false advertising?
I use Handbrake to convert my DVDs to video and then copy them onto the PlayBook.
I find this easy and I don't have to pay for a video that I already own.
You'd have to do the same with an iPad or Android by the way.

Want to be able to go to a site and rent a movie as I can with netflix on sale laptop or ipad...or the bb video store but think that is only in the US...any other solutions would be appreciated.
so..whats happening RIM? i purchased my playbook so i can watch movies but RIM are still una ble to give this service to the UK. im very disappointed! I thought this were the modern world were living in and yet its still not possible to download movies.
