My playbook connects to the wifi no problem, but when i try to use the brower to connect to a web page, it won't connect. It gives me the error message that i should try again.

It is as if it is not connected to the internet.

When i try APP world, it tries to connect but it tell me that I am not connected to the internet.

The internet works on when i try it on my computer and my blackberry bold.

Hello,
Please specify the Router type that you are currently using?
(is it Netgear, Cisco, Belkin, Linksys?). I have known many cases with PlayBook not connecting to NETGEAR routers.

The router is a cisco from rogers

Have you tried rebooting the router or deleting your initial wifi setup and re-inserting the data...

In response to the above comment, try deleting your Wi-Fi and re-adding it on your PlayBook.
Also, you could try rebooting your PlayBook?

There is fore sure internet that is working. I can use it right now on my computer typing this.

I have done all the usual things.

I have deleted the profile

rebooted the playbook

manualy connected to the internet.

Sometimes it might work for a short time (even as little as 1minute) then we are back to the normal

Most of the time it does nothing!

What OS are you running on your PlayBook?
I used to have the same problem some time ago where my playbook wouldn't connect properly even when my Alpha would..

Try with a different router, change the channel to 1 out of 11. (If you buy a router and that doesn't work u could just return it). Change the security type?

Its definately not his wifi reciever just the fact that it is having problems connecting to a specific wifi network.

Router is fine

works on all other devices.

it is just the playbook that it doesnt work.
