WhAt Is WrOnG WiTh ThEUpPeR/loWeRCase

[ Edited ]

I use the GoBooks app but can never find the Books folder that appears in the desktop manager. Does anyone know where it is? I end up storing books in the download folder because I can't find them otherwise.

Also, what the bleep is going wrong with text entry now that I've done the update? Never had a problem posting to this forum before but since the update it's a mess. It (1) types the subject line in random u&l case or allcaps, (2) skips from the body to the subject line if I backspace, and (3) hides the body below the keyboard half the time..?

Found the books in accounts\1000\shared\books - so initial question solved...

Can anyone help solve the crazy text editing behaviour when posting to the forum from the PB?

Thx!

You are quite right, it is almost impossible to create a new message in here using playbook.

Ironic.

Not sure when it started but the funny caps on off has been there before 1314.  thought some people were just wierd!

Hmmm I'll have to test this. I've not noticed this problem.

When I open up acccounts all I see is

"Manage e-mail, calendar, contact, and social accounts" and then listed is the e-mail address we have synced with the playbook.

Am I in the wrong 'accounts' section?

Yes - it sounds like you have pressed the cog-wheel shape to get to the settings menu and selected the "accounts" section.

The following might be a bit hit or miss - my PB is out of commission because I'm stuck without wifi and a few things are screwing up.l), so... from memory...

To store and then find epubs in the PB's "Books" folder...

Connect the PB to the BB Desktop application.

Working on the PC and within the BB Desktop application, save youir epubs into the "Books" folder

Disconnect the PB from the PC

Open up GO Books (assuming that is what you are using)

Get the menu (top or bottom swipe or tap) to show something that looks more or less like "get books" and press that..

You should see a failry basic file/folder navigation menu

Navigate up (up arrow) until you see a folder called accounts listed, click on that

look for a folder called "1000" and then, within that, another called "shared" and another called "books"

You should find your epub titles there,..

Once you've done it once, the app should default to the same folder so the next will be easier to find.

I think you can upload multiple books at once, but try one to start before tackling a library...

best
