I've googled and searched the admin documentation on BB but I can't find a specific reference to the maximum length of the file sharing password. I've found some references to 32 chars but nothing specific.

lol... not far off.

Using my Apple TimeCapsule as wouter (that wireless router) and it allows a 64 char hex password to connect to wireless, which i utilised to the full !!! But only 32 char for all other related passwords.

Some clarification of playbook terms.

That is the wifi encryption password.

The file sharing password is different and is set each time you turn on wireless file sharing in playbook storage and sharing settings. I suggest a much shorter one for there, and it must be alphanumeric.

According to customer services the maximum length is 32 chars.

This was apparently confirmed from an error message.
