WiFi Authentication Issues

Hi

I have a Curve 9300 and a Playbook. A week ago both lost their connection with my WiFi at home. I tried to reconnect but get authentication failures on both devices. I have entered the key in both lower and upper case - neither work. The Blackberry devices continue to work ok with a mifi device that I have. All other devices in the house (iPAD, Lapop, Iphones etc) continue to work ok with my Wifi.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

G

Re: WiFi Authentication Issues

can we assume you are running wireless N on the router? The mifi will be G.

Check the router encryption is WPA2 with AES. This especially if you recently upgraded to 2.1 OS.

Re: WiFi Authentication Issues

Not sure what router is running (its Sky Broadband and a Netgear router)

Router encryption is WPA Personal with TKIP.

Re: WiFi Authentication Issues

Checkout wether the mac id of your both devices are blocked. Because some wifi routers block mac id after 3 wrong authentications
