can I reinstall a purchased app?

I just purchased an app and it worked for 2 minutes and it started hanging. If I delete it and reinstall it, will I get charged again? Thanks.

If you purchased it through BlackBerry Appworld when you delete it, it will show up in the uninstalled area, so yes you just go to it in Appworld and reinstall..you should not be charged again. I have done it many times without being charged.

Be ready to have to pay for them again, the last time that I connected my Playbook with the computer, the computer decided that the Playbook needed to be updated and it simply re-install the whole Playbook to factory state, so after I set it up again when I went to AppWorld to re-install themthey were all showing in the un-install section of AppWorld but all the paid program I had to pay for them all over.

 

BTW the same thing happened after I updated the Bold 9900, somehow for AppWorld both device were not the original devices  :-(

That is extremely bad, I would contact RIM and APP developers about this because what is because it is likely something has gone wrong with your BB ID. If there was a major update on the App you may have to pay for that but not a reinstall of the original product. You should be able to get a refund for what you paid

I would most definitely not pay for something I have already purchased. I have reinstalled apps quite a few times and even installed purchased apps from one device to another when I bought a new device and decomissioned the old one.

There is not much choice in the matter, either you pay for the program or you do not use the program :-(

It seems like you've changed your BlackBerry ID. Are you sure that you have not? If so then it's a reason to call to support.

I have only one Blackberry ID as per the rules of AppWorld that you are allowed only one ID per person, and I have the same ID for both

I think it's impossible to have only one BlackBerry ID in case you have several BlackBerry smartphones or several PlayBooks.

Well when I created my ID years ago, that was the way it was one ID per person, and either way I ahve only for both my Bold 9900 and the Playbook
