hi, recently my playbook it's fallen and now it doesn't find networks, i think that the wifi chip it's broken, have you some idea to ensure that the problem is really that ic? In case, around how much it cost to be repaired ? There is a way to skip the "connecion procedure" and use it in another way? Thanks
You can start and stop it no problems? Is the wifi switch turned on? If you go into the Wifi settings, can you see any wifi networks? Without. A wifi signal you will not be able to download any Apps as they will only download with wifi. You should be able to run games etc but it will be limited. You will have to contact BlackBerry for advice on fixing. If you send it to them it will be wiped. You will lose all your files. Try connecting by cable to a computer and do a backup. No. The ON/Off button is a virtual button on the WIFI page. Tap the White WiFi symbol at the top right corner. When the next box opens, there is a virtual switch there. It should say OFF. Tap it to turn it ON.
i have just 3 button on the screen (lower left), 2 to connect(router and manual wifi) and 1 for the diagnostic page, i can change language by switching to the right but i can't do more, i can send you some pics if you need it..
