The slideshow is already installed, if you have a powerpoint on the Playbook, use a file manager to get it and it will play

Unfortunately, you can not create a powerpoint presentation on the Playbook, you can only edit or play one

If you mean a powerpoint type app, you can play a .ppt that has been created on a PC/Mac, you can do minor text edits to the same .ppt. Hpwever you cannot create a new ppt type document on Playbook.
You might like to try the rather expensive apps available

i mean i only have 2 icons instead of 3, in docs to go app (word and spreadsheet, but not one for slideshow)

That has always been that way. You need to tap Browse to see the ppts.
In OS1.x there were three separate icons for docs, sheets and powerpoints. Now they are all in one app since OS2.0 they only show Doc+ and Sheet+ icons inside because ppt+ i.e create a ppt is not and never has been posible

I only have the two icons as well, but you are still able to open and edit powerpoint docs that are on the playbook. My .ppt(x) files show up along with other docs when I open the docs to go app.
You can use Office Suite app to create new powerpoints if you need that function...it's not great but it works. You can get it from the goodereader.com site under playbook productivity and office android apps section.
