dying here help

Now I security wiped my playbook and it just opens to the welcome screen with the colors and it kept doing that for 16 hours! Then iconnected it to m pc bb desktop software and choose update and I am afraid if the process stoped for any reason will that tortaly ruin the playbook or can ui redo that??? Please help me

It stopped once and I choose retry and since then there is no progress in the download bar am askin if I disconnected the playbook can I try to redownloadf the software or the playbook is ruined forever?

It's not ruined.

 

You can always disconnect and reconnect to your PC, run the BlackBerry Desktop Software and you should be given a message to update or repair... update and make certain you keep your internet connect live during the process.

Make sure your PlayBook battery is charged.

Even if the playbook has no software now?? Some one told me that if the software setup was interrrupted the device won't work again! Is that right??

It happened with Some one I know with a nokia mobile phone. And in the download box it says if I disconnected it it may become UNUSABLE!

Well it happened to me a while back while I was debricking, and all I had to do was to restart the desktop program and then the debricking process and the Playbook is still going on strong to this day
