Do you mean if you are unbridged and on wifi, Hotmail does not push mail? Easy thing to do is delete the account from the messages app. Restart Playbook. Then Add Account by entering your Hotmail address and password ONLY. Do not touch the Advanced Settings button and do not add in any advanced settings. Just Continue, Save and relax. Do not have any bridge connected. It should work then.
