Since I updated I am now getting a message in Messages that says:
exceeded the login limit of a 5 minute period. reduce the frequency of requests to the pop3 server.
what does this mean.
can i do anything about it? worked fine before the update.

Check syncing in accounts. At the end of options on each email account.

I always delete all email accounts before an upgrade then add them back. if the sync settings look ok, delete the account and add it back after a restart.
