java script and password request

Hi, this is my husband's play book and he is having a couple of problelms with it at the moment..

1.First:

When he tries to load a paticular app, he gets a  java script error "null" message..I loaded the same app on my phone (Galaxy S III) and it worked fine but it doesn't on my DH's or my DIL's BB Playbook..

2. Password Request:

While reading his ebooks,BB playbook keeps asking for him to supply his password again..he "save"s it each tie and then it asks him again a few minutes later..same happens if he selects "cancel"

Re: java script and password request

So we can help...

1. How is he "loading" the app? Blackberry App World?  What app is it?

2. What reader app is he using?

Re: java script and password request

The app is The Ottawa Citizen App from the BB app store and from PlayStore..

He opens it by selecting the Ottawa Citizen app Icon from front page..

Hope this helps..

Re: java script and password request

I would suspect that it is with the java script it self and not the playbook. It appears that the developer. Is no longer supporting this platform.

Re: java script and password request

Galaxy is Android, Playbook is qnx with android player.  Thee Android version needs to be ported to Playbook by the developer.

[ Edited ]

Which means they are different tablets with different operating systems so need different (or converted) versions of the app. So you opened an app with the same name that is supposed to do the same thing, but not the same app

It has already been suggested it's the developer, or the website is not deskgned to be compatible with playbook's browser.

Re: java script and password request

I have the same problem with The Windsor Star and The Edmonton Journal apps. It gets to edition loaded and then stops. Will these apps ever be restored? Is there anyone in the Blackberry Corporation who is even looking into yhis problem?
