I have two BB Playbook 16gb and since I downloaded the new version (2.1.0.1088), my desktop manager doesn't recognize my playbook. It says ''not conected'' and I can't tr5ansfer videos and music like I used to. Also, this version is ceating me some problems with my wi-fi system......
please help,

Thanks for your reply. You mean remove ans reinstall a new version of the desktop manager? If so, I did that and still no results. What do you means by ''drivers''?

Ohh.. I thought it should work that way....
Try this one
1. Open the Desktop Software, have the device disconnected and turned off.
2. Turn on the device and immediately connect to the USB cable - do not wait for booting or LED

One false move that way and it reinstalls the OS and you lose all your data. backup first.

But there seems no other option as the device is not communicating with the computer

If you recommend drastic action, you should also recommend backing up first.
