I bought a new playbook, registered on my old ID which is also still registered on my old playbook. in this way, when I try video chat in between, it does not work. so I try to reset a new ID on one playbook, however, it updates the ID on the two playbooks automatically, so still same ID on two playbooks. in this case, how do i set a new id on one and does not affect the other?

Video chat is probably the only thing that will not work between PBs with the same ID.
If you try to change a BBID like that you are changing the online master.
You need to Security Wipe one of them and create a new ID in that one when you set it up

You can use two playbooks with one BBID but vid chat will not work between them. only the one that last used/contacted App World or BBID will work for vid chat.
You have to security wipe the playbook to use a differnet BBID, make sure you back files up first.
