pdf

Hey, I'm having trouble opening up a pdf file on my playbook.it seems to open part way and then stops...
 If anyone knows of a reason why or a solution it would be very helpful to me, ty

I think there is a size limit on PDF files. I don't recall it offhand. I will look around on this Site to see if I can find the size.

I also heard some people having problems with pdf files if they contained weird symbols. Although I haven't encountered this problem myself, and I use the pdf reader a lot (and they almost always contain a lot of formulas and weird symbols)

I think that particular problem was with symbols in the file name. If you removed the symbols it was fine afterwards. I have never had any problems with. PDF Reader either.

That could have been the problem indeed. I just remembered it had something to do with weird symbols.

Hi

I am having problems with certain pdf files from our local bus operator (timetables and maps etc) ...... but not all of their files

But I have just tried the qPDF app and that opens all the previously "problem" files
