playbook browser function

When "browser" clicked, the page either comes up blank as "untitled" or with the Blackberry home page.

How do make "Google " the default

From inside your browser, swipe down from the top so you can see the bar with tabs and other options. Tap on "Settings". Inside the settings, tap on "General" (you're probably already on that page when you first go into Settings). There is a field for home page in there.

Re: playbook browser function

Hmmmm in that case I'm not sure what else to offer. Maybe make sure you specify "google.com" and not just "google", if you haven't done so already. I've tried different settings within the browser, and for me as long as I've said "For a new page show: my home page" and have specified a valid page like "bing.com" or "google.ca" it works.

Re: playbook browser function

I hope someone helps.  I have the same problem.  Any item needing the internet eventually gives me a blank screen.
