Re: playbook os 2.0 release?

RIM has not announced any specific date, other than to say "this month", February 2012.

You'll find rumors and rumors of rumors abounding... some guessing the 17th and the 21st.

What's your guess?

I wasted soooo much time screwing around with dingleberry...and until RIM gets me up on Android with a minimum amount of BS...I may bail out on RIM forever....

Re: playbook os 2.0 release?

Hopefully as part of the company shakeup RIM will realize the importance of keeping on track, up to date, and following through with commitments. My workplace has changed over to different smartphones. After 6 years, I have switched to a different smartphone. I bought a playbook because of the price, but unless they make some significant changes in the next OS, this may be have been a waste of my money. RIM, can you afford to lose more business, customers and reputation?

Re: playbook os 2.0 release?

The way I see it I got the PB at a discount so I don't mind waiting till RIM is ready to release OS2 since the PB is working fine and has enough going for it to be entertaining.

I'd rather that RIM release OS2 with as little bugs as possible rather than rush it!

Re: playbook os 2.0 release?

They should have not released PB w/o an operating sytem that runs apps or developed apps in abundance before release...either way FUBAR
