playbook uk 2.1.0.1088 WEP connection issues

Hi all,
First time here. The problem is that I can't connect to my hotel WEP connection, the ssid is vissible & password is correct & my galaxy s has no problem connecting to same internet connection.

can't believe that either rim update has bug issues with wep, since it has been raining here & every tablet under the sun in hotel lobby is connected...

Any idea's anybody?

What happens? Any error messages? Did you try to delete the connection in playbook and start again?

 

Edit: just dug out my old BT hub on WEP. Attempt 1 failed (associating) attempt 2 successful (obtaining IPAddress) seems WEP is ok per se.

I am writing this on my playbook.

 

I deleted my saved other connections & tried connection to WEP again and it worked 1st time, After prob 20 times of trying before. 

 

Must have been a bug.

Hello,
I restored my Blackberry Playbook to factory settings and now doesn't find Wi-Fi networks.When i connect it via usb cable to my PC the Blackberry desktop software show me to restart my device and download the version BB os 2.1.1088.After the installation follow the steps at startup and on second step (wi-fi network) to continue doesn't find a network again.can you help me please?
