I can't set up my email adds in messenger - get a mesage saying that the settings don't work although they work perfectly on the pc - I have managed to install the bridge so all is not lost but would like to do this on the device itself
Without having the specific settings I can't really suggest any more.

I have used both the quick form and the advanced set up options in Messages to try to add my email accounts, but the PlayBook won't accept my username and password. Which account are you suggesting I should delete? None of the accounts have been accepted.
Sorry, the original question implied that it had set itself up and then stopped.
All I can think of is double-checking your email username. Is it the same as your email address or different?

Have now set up all accounts with the correct settings-just took a little finding to make sure I had all the correct ports and addresses. Thanks for your time
