wi fi drops connection

my wi fi keeps dropping ,errors cannot connect to server,in app world keeps saying check connection then will pick up connection , in browser will saytryagain and will connect then ... anyone else have glitchy connections ?

Mine only connects to open, unprotected networks.  The connect button will not become active on any other network, even though it sees them.
