I've moved all the contacts to a subfolder and it hasn't detected the move. I've removed the battery and deleted/undeleted the Desktop [SYNC] service book. None of those have made any difference to the device at all. I've also done the Alt+CNFG trick to disable/enable wireless sync and that hasn't made any difference yet either.
Any ideas? I find it interesting that the device is stuck at 256, suggesting some sort of limit, but there doesn't appear to be one.
The handheld have several GB of free space too, so it's not a storage issue.
Any suggestions? It would be the director's phone, of course... ![]()

No device has a gig of memory in main memory yet. teh storage space is not a factor in BES.
try this out for contacts
Start with this.
KB10953 - Contacts do not synchronize between BlackBerry smartphones and Microsoft Outlook
Also this works well too
In outlook Make a new folder for contacts called backup
move all contacts to the folder and wait for all to be removed from device
then pull battery on device and put back in
After device boots move contacts from backup to the contacts folder and wait for them all to appear
Make a new contact in outlook and see if it gets to the device.
