What browser are you using?
Did you get prompted for the active x control?

I am using IE 8. This is actually a reinstall and it did work before. I removed the previous install and reinstalled everything, since then I can't get to the webconsole.

Okay for some unknown reason the admin console showed up, no I am getting an error "The specified user already exists in the available user list.", even no users have been setup yet.

I got the admin panel back, now I am back where I started. I can't send emails from my BB, "Desktop Email program unable to submit message"
I just reinstalled everything, including setting up a new BES user.
Running SBS2003.

Hello
I have installed BES Enterprise Express (Latest Version) on a Windows 2003 Server Enterprise R2 edition, Carrier is ROGERS, this is a medium size company, previously using BlackBerry Manager on a different server with about 20 Blackberry devices (upgrading to BOLD 9700 just now from Curve) I have tried IE8 (Default) and FireFox bur i get a "Can not display the Web page" when trying to access https://localhost/webconcole/app do you have any Idea why this happens?
this server also runs Tren Micro Anti Virus which uses a WebConsole for Administration purposes. also MS Sharepoint was installed but removed previously.
Thank you

did you specify the port assigned ot it?
look at the BAS AS logs
default location :\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerryEnterprise Server\Logs

i did not specify a port so i assume it's the default secure port 443. the web access log contains data all similar to: [13/Jul/2010:00:01:00 -0700] "POST /officescan/cgi/cgiRqOpp.exe HTTP/1.1" 404 1036
(officescan is the TrenMicro Enterprise Anti-Virus!) there are other log files in different folders i cannot point out any specific error in the text ...
