Hi All, 

Its been awhile since my last post, hope alls well!, I’ve found an ugly issue one of my users was experiencing4 months ago has Reappeared. (For reference purposes I’ve added the link to myoriginal topic 4 months ago http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/board/message?board.id=bps_unite&message.id=1075). My question is.  i can continue to do the fix as described in my previoustopic and that temporarily fixes the issue (for 3 months or so), but is it possibleor is there a permanent fix? or is it one of those inherent issues that I’llhave to fix every few months or so? 

Oh the bother, corrupt service books!

What version CDO.dll is on BES and Exchange?

Hi Knottyrope,

BlackBerry Server Details are as follows

Server - Virtual Server Running on ESX 

OS -  Windows Server 2003 STD SP2

Version -Blackberry Professional software version 4.1.4.3

Blackberry Manager Version - 4.1.4.17 

Other Notes - This is a seperate server to the exchange.

CDO.dll Version (please note there are 2 on the Blackberry server both are dated 24/06/2003)

Devices - BlackBerry Bold (9000)

Exchange Server details are as follows

Server - Virtual Server Running on ESX

OS - Windows Server 2003 STD SP2

Software - Exchange 2003 STD SP 2  

Other Notes - CDO.dll Version (please note once again there are 2 copies on the exchange server but both are dated 27/9/2006) 

I've been testing doing some testing with my blackberry and i've found that, if i create a contact in Outlook (2007) and leave it to update the contacts list on the blackberry. However if i create a new contact on the blackberry it will update my contacts in outlook.

I also assume seeing as the CDO.dll files are older on the blackberry server i'm going to need to update them?

Just an update,

i havn't implemented a fix yet, but i expect this will fix my issue. I managed to find out the exact version of the cdo.dll file on BBserver (6.5.6944.0) and also the exchange server (6.5.7654.0) . I'll be looking to impliment a fix this weekend.
