BES 5 Express: Failed to start BlackBerry dispatcher

Hi all,

I've just installed BES 5 Express on Windows 2003 Enterprise edition; which is a Domain Controller and also runs Exchange 2003.

All services but the BlackBerry Dispatcher seem to be running.

When i try to start the Dispatcher service; i get an error:

"Windows could not start the BlackBerry Dispatcher on Local Computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 5009."

The System Event log says:

"{ConnectioNItem::ConnectToDB} Failed to connect. Connection string is Provieder=SQLOLEDB.1;Server=192.168.124.140;Database=BESMgmt;Network=dbmssocn;Trusted_Connection=Yes".

I know this does look to be an issue connecting to the database, but i can't see why it has any problem...

Any ideas?

Please use plain text.

Re: BES 5 Express: Failed to start BlackBerry dispatcher

Oh, and in the event logs on the database server:
Login failed for user '*domain&\bbadmin2'. Reason: Token-based server access validation failed with an infrastructure error. Check for previous errors. [CLIENT: 192.168.124.86].

Any ideas about this error?
