I am new to the BES Scene and have been reading documentation until its coming out of my ears but cannot fully understand the process. It should be fairly straight forward, I think I understand it but there are one or two hurdles and it would be great if someone could offer some advice to get me over the last hurdle or two.
Currently have Exchange 2003 with BES Express 5.0.1 and 5 or so users.
Migrating to new H/W in Virtual environment but all on the same Domain.
I have the new exchange server on VM running Exchange 2010 and it is happy.
I want to perform a migration so the original server is available and working until I can migrate one user and test on the new platform, if that works them move the rest and decommission the old Exchange server.
I have followed the guides for setting up the admin user and permissions, exchange policies etc.
BESE 5.0.4 is installed on the new server, originally I used the original SRP that is in service on the old server. It grumbled but I read somewhere to go ahead hmmmm. Anyway on using the transporter tool succesfully and all the users moved on testing no email was flowing. Likely related to this SRP code then... I used the transporter tool to move the users back to the original server, things started working again.
Reading the kb article on the migration there is a link to a migration kit where you get a srp code to use and the original expires after 90 days .. the link in the article is dead .... I emailed Blackberry and RIM support. No feedback at all.
Today I re-registered with the same details and email address for a new SRP and CAL. The link came through email but trying to use the new codes on the BES install it states "Authentication Denied" ? The Verify connection button show successful connectivity.
I logged into the original dashboard to see if I could register the new SRP code but it says its already registered.
So how do I now log into a DESC / Dashboard with the new codes registered when I used the same email address for the account the original SRP was ordered because it still takes me to the original account if you follow
So im a little confused and would really appreciate a little guidence from people that have been through and understand the process.

only one SRP per BES Express or you can get SRP locked out
Lucky a new SRP is free
I heard of others with getting auth denied so maybe there is an issue that should clear up soon
