Hi,
We've just switched from BES 4.something to BES Express server. All seems to be working OK except the MDS connection service is writing an error to the Windows event logs every 5 minutes along the lines of:
<2012-05-04 11:02:41.832 BST>:[4124]:<MDS-CS_MYSERVERNAME_MDS-CS_1>:<ERROR>
Apparently this is a known issue to do with SNMP: http://docs.blackberry.com/en/admin/deliverables/2
One of the workarounds suggests ensuring SNMP is set up correctly for the Blackberry Monitoring Service but after much fruitless searching, I need to answer the following:
1) Is Blackberry Monitoring Service available on BES Express? It doesn't appear as a selection when running the main installation program and I can't find anywhere to download it from
2) If the monitoring service is not available, how can I configure anything to do with SNMP through the Administration service for BES Express?
3) If it is not possible to configure this anywhere, how can I prevent these errors from appearing without just disabling the SNMP service in Windows which may effect other applications.
For info, this is BES Express 5.0.3 for Lotus Domino running on Windows Server 2003
Many thanks,
Emily

Remove SNMP trap information from the Windows® registry and restart the SNMP service
that should do it

Thanks, but do you have any more information on how to do this? For example, which registry key should I be looking in? Is it under the Windows key, or the BES key?
