BES Express is showing old data after virtual machine fails.

Hi All,

We are currently BES Express in a windows 2008 R2 Virtual system.  Recently we had an issue with our SAN and had to move the virtual system.  Due to complications the snapshots got all messed up and basically I am restoring a BES Express that was up and running in July, according to the last time users blackberrys made contact.  Now, this doesn’t bother me, I just want to get mail flowing again.  So far everything is stuck.  My main concern is forcing users to re-activate their blackberrys with the BES.  Is there any way of avoiding this?  How do you get mail flowing again?  The BES and the SQL are installed on the same server and connect to an Exchange 2010 server.  Any info would be great.

Thanks.

that is an old backup, do you have a copy of the BES database that is newer?

Hi,

Nope nothing newer.  Is it not possible just to enable this one?  I can delete the people who no longer have BBs or have different models.
