Hi,
Has anyone successfully installed BESX 5 on SBS 2003/SP2? I am currently running BPS 4.1.4 and am willing to remove it and wipe/reactivate all phones (only have 10 8830s), but I've seen multiple posts about inability to get this working properly either as upgrade or new install.

Just googling around I've found several posts mentioning problems. Are you aware of SBS 2003-specific instructions?

There have a been a few issues and a new bundle has been released (few weeks aog) that addresses those common issues.
I wonder how many of those posts are most likely running now. Also many people never come back to say it worked or not.
I would try the latest bundle and see if you come across any issues.

Thanks, KR. Do you know off the top of your head how I get the latest bundle? Do I need to reapply for a download and license key?
Also, are you aware of any SBS2003-specific instructions?

Also, are you aware of any SBS2003-specific instructions? For the most part follow the directions for when installing on a domain controller in the manual

Thanks. It's the part after "for the most part" that concerns me.

I did the install on SBS 2003 R2. I uninstalled BPS 4.1.4 then installed BESX 5 no problem.

Thanks very much. Did you set up a special BES user? What did you use for install instructions?
