Hello,
BESx 5.02
SBS 2008
SQL Server 2005 Express Instance: Myserver\Blackberry
Exchange Server 2007 SP2
The BESx System appears fine (users are getting their messages and such like). However, the Blackberry Administration Service Page will not load.
I do not use this regularly. I had cause to use the Admin Console last week (to add a new user) and discovered this problem. We had a server crash on 4th April 2012 and I suspect the problem dates back to these events. It was a hardware fault that caused the server to fail. This was repaired and the server was rebooted (no backups were used).
I can't find anything within the Server Event Log (and ALL the Blackberry Services are running).
I had a look through the BBAS* logs and the most recent log is 4th April 2012 (the date we had the server crash). They are quite large log files (650 KB) compared to the ones ones from previous dates (1 KB). As I say, there are no further BBAS* logs after this date.
Here is a small section of the BBAS-AS log:
(04/04 10:10:11:789):{EJB-Timer-3[target=jboss.j2ee:servi
Firstly, would someone be able to give me some help sorting this?
Secondly, should I post the whole of the log file? I was reluctant due to the size.
Thanks in advance.
Kind Regards,
Stephen

I'm pondering installing BESx SP3
SP3 is what I would do as 2008 has a few updates that can effect BAS login.
Clear IE cache and or reset IE
can you access BAS on a PC? either by IP or FQDN?

Ok, thanks. I'll go with the BESx SP3 option.
I can confirm that clearing the cache (and also trying from a PC) didn't work.
I'll report back....
Kind Regards,
Stephen

Just as an update, I finally got around to loading Exchange 2007 SP3 yesterday. I didn't expect that to resolve the problem (and it didnt).
Next step is to load BESx SP3.

Stephen
