Hi,
Wondering if anyone can help.
We are using BES Express Version: 5.0.2.29, there is an option to Allow Browser under the Global tab in the policy section which I have set to no, on the description it says it hides the browser but after the policy is applied the browser is still showing and can be used. I've now read that you cannot disable the browser in the Express version, is this true?
If the above is true and we cannot hide/disable the browser through BES Express is there any other way of stopping a user from browsing? We cannot disable data services because we are deploying an app which needs this. We are planning to deploy 300+ devices and really need browsing disabled.
Regards,
Ross

you can not really disable the browser with express, it was made for personal liable devices.

If planning to deploy 300+ maybe you should consider full blown bes where you'd have more it polices and where this can be controlled using IT policies.
