Dear All, anybody can help?
the BES Express 5.0.4 (over Lotus Domino servers) is located in DMZ and activation email arrives at user mailbox, however, the mail stays there, the BES does not delete it, the activation is aborted.
ok, officially RIM does not support BES in DMZ. I know. However, this is still a question of access rules for the firewall to the internal network, the Domino servers and the SQL-Server which is also behind this firewall. But where is the problem? Which acess is needed to get access - especially to the SQL server? How detailed the access has to be opened through the internal firewall?
SQL-Server Port 1433 ==> OK
Access test from BES to SQL-Server per Server Configu. Panel and telnet ==> OK
Lotus Domino Port 1352 ==> OK
RIM Connection Port 3101 ==> OK
Administration remote access per RDP ==> OK
these are the most important ones, this should be ok.
Any idea, about a misconfiguration?
Especially for the activation process and access to the RIM-mail in the mailbox, which activity is going on in this moment? Does the BES need SQL-access right now when accessing the user-mailbox, reading the RIM-mail and deleting it? I do not find proper information in the net about this to understand the failure!
Community, please help!!
