Yes if you want to do it through RIM's web interface.
Or you can waste hours calling your carrier on each phone that appers not to be working.
I have a phone guy here and love to waste his time instead of mine.
One time took an entire day of calls for him.

Knottyrope, I figured out what was holding back my Device Activation. After logging and using my free support call, I did a security wipe of the device and a fresh activation but it still wasn't working. I cancelled the activation and decided to log on to the device's owners email and see where the ETP.dat email went. Imagine my surprise when I saw it went straight to the deleted items file, to join over 4000 sibling emails. Then I remembered that late last year, i set up a rule in Outlook to do just that. I deleted the ETP.dat emails, cancelled the rule and tried the activation again.
Lo and behold, it worked.
Thanks for your help with this

goto ESm and see that the etp.dat file made it to exchange and that bes picked it up.
Some spam filters will kill it.
I did mention it before.
Glad you have it working now.
Hope you have at least learned a bit more about BPS

Well, from other postings on this and other forums, I thought that the correct, eventual destination of these emails was the Deleted items file. I did not realize that they were to go to the Inbox and then were snatched away from the Inbox back to RIM.
