Hi,
I very recently installed Blackberry Professional Sever at a client site and while it pushes e-mail out to the two blackberrys I have configured for it (so far) it will not push out any contacts or calendar information. I've looked extensively at the getting started guide and followed it pretty well. The software doesn't seem to be reporting any errors. The Blackberry software resides on its own dedicated server (Windows Server 2003.) I am very concerned that I am unable to push appointments and contacts in real time. I will provide any needed information. I get one free incident to call RIM support with the purchase of the software (and the 10 cals) but I am not wanting to do that just yet in case there is a much larger problem down the road. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post some log data? Perhaps start with the ALRT log.
What mail platform are you running? What version?

Hi. I am running version 4.1.4.15 of Blackberry Professional in a Microsoft Exchange 2003 (SP2) environment.
You want me to post the entire ALRT log? It's too big to post here.

can you zip and send the whole day of logs?
The alrt log shows a db connection error (and then successful connection) and also an srp failure but then connection ...
Are there any network issues possibly too?

Um yeah; that is your problem.
You can't use the components from Outlook; must be ESM tools or the separate MAPI / CDO tools download MS offers.
The installation guide will tell you this.
