I'm having a problem where users can no longer sync contacts (both in outlook and the BB). This has worked in the past and calendar sync is still working. I'm on the latest version of BESx and exchange 2010. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

can you post your sync log please
default location :\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerryEnterprise Server\Logs
Also look in event veiwer to seef if any errors or warnings pertain to your issue
Please post back the log info minus personal info

you can post some it and we can see what there is. event viewer usually indicates an issue but not really telling the issue.
the BES logs have more info in them.

I can't login to the admin console either with it saying the AD username and password is wrong when it clearly isn't. I wonder if this could be related.
Also, in the MAST log, Where it lists the paths to the services, BB user admin service and BB DB consistency service both say NOT FOUND.

I am not a tech support person, just a user of Outlook 2010 and BB Bold 9650. Recently my contacts do not synch from BB to Outlook and vice versa. Email and calendar synch just fine. Any help in general terms would be greatly appreciated.

Start with this.
In outlook Make a new folder for contacts called backup
move all contacts to the folder and wait for all to be removed from device
then pull battery on device and put back in
After device boots move contacts from backup to the contacts folder and wait for them all to appear
Make a new contact in outlook and see if it gets to the device.
if you have access to BES or can give info toyour BESAdmin let us now if the above does not work
