Hi All,
I have BB 9700 user connecting to BESX. When they are roaming they get their emails through fine, however when they delete them it doesn't sync back.
Hence when they get back in the office they have all the emails they have already dealt with sitting in their inbox as new messages.
I have tried setting the BB to device wins on conflict but it hasn't made any difference.
Any help apreciated.
Cheers,
Nathan

This will explain a lot about reconcile and hard deletes
KB04863 - Permanent deletion of email messages in Microsoft Outlook does not reconcile to the BlackB...
link in above KB in case you missed it
KB04853 - How to enable hard deletes on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server
I have also changed the messages state size to 1000 and it cured 99% of our issues.
The performance hit and RAM increase is almost nil on the BES box.
On Device also double check:
Make sure that Wireless Reconcile is set to On. Sometimes toggling that to off, saving it, then turning it back on.
Messages Options - Email reconciliation -
Delete on Mailbox and handheld,
wireless reconcile = Yes
On conflicts = Mailbox wins.
If still not working and you moved a user mailbox.

Thanks for the response and sorry for the late reply.
Tried setting the message state to 1000 but still getting issues.
Did the email reconciliation test and all seemed to work except the Test 2 was duplicated in the outlook deleted items.
Trouble is it only happens when the user ahs been away for a while and just using his blackberry, then when he comes back he gets the issue. If i sit in front of his mahcine and try it, it works fine.

When you apply the 1000 it is only set to the new messages and not the older ones.
See if it is better in a few days

Still doing the same, the user has given up and just accepted it now.
He also complains that message dont delete even when not roaming about once a month. I can just turn of wireless sync - save - turn on wireless sync to resolve but would like to know why it keeps happening.
Any ideas?

I had a sales man with a Bold and he finally went to a Curve 2g to fix his roaming issue on Voda.
