Out of Office not working externally Exchange 2007

Hello,

 

We are using Exchange 2007 Server and clients are using Outlook 2007.  Out of Office messages are being sent to internal recipients but not to external.  THere is not much available about this on the Internet but some articles suggest that this is an issue caused by Blackberry software and Exchange 2007.  We are running Blackberry Professional Soware 4.1.4.3 on Windows Server 2003.
