I am new to this - first post - but need help please.
Our company has just switched to O2 from Vodafone and installed BES at the same time. Two of us have bluetooth car systems - new Mondeo and Accord, both with Satnav systems. Our BB Pearl 8100s were wiped during the change (let's not go there!). Our problem is that before the change the cars would automatically pick up the BBs and pair without us doing a thing. Now it's different. I have reached a stage where I can get the phone to register on the car's screen but when I select the phone the car tells me that there is no response from the phone.
I have changed the settings on the phone to trust the car audio system and make the phone discoverable but still nothing even after disconnecting several times and even deleting the car from the phone and reconnecting. My wife's Motorola L6 pairs with the car without any problem.
Any ideas?
