I have the BES installed and working perfectly. I have one user that wants to use the public folder contact list on his Blackberry Device. There are over 6000 contacts. If I put them in the Contacts folder, they sync to the device no problems. If I put them all in the Public Folder Contact, only 3907 sync. In the BES Admin Service, the Public Folder states the correct number of Contacts (Over 6000) but if I activate a device, it states syncing the address book with just 3907 contacts. Is there a limit? If it was a size issue, why would it work on the standard contact list?
Using Exchange 2010 SP1 and the newest BES Express

Thank you for your quick response. I have split the folders but the phone still only syncs 3907 contacts.
Is there any way to change this limit?
Thank you

if it is a corrupt contact,
In outlook Make a new folder for contacts called backup
move all public contacts to the folder and wait for all to be removed from device
then pull battery on device and put back in
After device boots move contacts from backup to the public contacts folder and wait for them all to appear
Make a new contact in outlook and see if it gets to the device.
