Great thank you. As far as ordering another SRP goes would I have to register with the same information as done previously? We are taking over this work from an administrator no longer with the company. Also. when I migrate a user over will they need to reactivate their device?

Re: Migrating BES Express to new hardware?

so during the setup it asks:

In the Accounts and Folders dialog box, in the Name field, type the name of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server

Express that you want the BlackBerry Administration Service to display.

Should this not be the server name? WHere can I check this on the old server?

Let me know if this should be a new thread.

Re: Migrating BES Express to new hardware?

I see on the old server it was the server name but setup help says "the name of the blackberry enterprise server should not be the same as the name of the computer that hosts the Blackberry Enterprise Server"..

Re: Migrating BES Express to new hardware?

So if I name it BES01 does that affect anything else already configured? When I move people over via the transporter will it matter? We are migrating from a BES server that is named the same as the server to a new one.
