I'm having similar issues. I've followed your instructions on your link (running Express version) and added the registry entries. Seemed to have fixed many warning messages in Event viewer. The only remaining message is from the Blackberry Controller stating that 'BESServer' agent1: will not restart - reached...blah blah blah. The System log shows and error for "The Blackberry Mail Store Service service terminated with service-specific error 5406 (ox151E).
I do not have error 5305 or 5302 so the other suggested instructions seem to not apply. When I go to the Blackberry Server Configuration, the Blackberry Server tab, it shows the BlackBerry Server Name; if I click on Edit MAPI Profile button I get: "MAPIInitilize (80004005)" and then if I click ok button, I get: "The MAPI subsystem cannot be correctly initialized and used. Please make sure MAPI is installed and configured properly."
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. I'm running version 5.0.3 on Exchange Server 2007 on WinServ2008 SP2

I had seen this link in other posts and confirmed that they were already there, the only thing missing was the GC name.
Even if I do try to redo the MAPI, I get the same errors as I've mentionned above. I think there maybe a problem with MAPI itself?
Any other ideas?

No outlook installed, it's in the registry and it's the correct version 1.2.1 file version 6.5.8244.0.
Just a bit of background. BESEx was installed in Dec 2011 and running fine. Monday, I installed Symantec BackupExec 2012 Remote Agent and rebooted the server. BESEx hasn't been running since. I did notice that the policies are being sent to the BB but not email, calendar, etc.

I would be looking at uninstalling the remote agent or finding out what it is doing. Maybe remote agent is using a port that is causing issue.
I have remote agent installed on mine and no issue, but it is a slightly older version.

After rebooting the Exchange server, BES was no longer working. I've done multiple restarts trying to get it going and even rebooting the exchange server again.
Services shows that everything is started except for the BB Mail Store Service.
