Hi,

After downloading  BES express 2x I get the very same error immediately after starting setup

The setup stops with errorcode 2

On the same machine version 4 of BESexpress has already funcioned fine.

Intel Core Duo processor

4GB internal memory

Small Business Server 2008 servicepack 2

Microsoft Exchange 2007, servicepack 2

I would like Besexpress to be installed on the same machine where my SBS is running (as this has worked before)

Any help is much appreciated.

what is error code 2? is there any info in the install logs?

default location :\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerryEnterprise Server\Logs

Also look in event veiwer to seef if any errors or warnings pertain to your issue

Please post back the log info minus personal info

There is no log

the setup crashes straight after showing the LOGO

could it be country settings?

because date and time with us are different.

10-march-2011 would be 10-3-2011

and of course time is 22:15 (not 10.15 PM)

Also with Numbers we write:  3.500,00

you would write: 3,500.00

(just tested..... THAT is the problem, the country must be set to something like UK or US, dirty programming)

interesting on the date issue, I would hope it would show the format when needing to enter it in
